Is photography and videography allowed at Stephenson's Historic House?

Photography and videography for personal use is welcome, however tripods and lighting equipment may not be used in the house, garden or maze and selfie sticks may not be used in the house.

Flash photography may also be restricted in the house and drones are not permitted anywhere on the estate. Professional photography is not permitted, and photographs taken on the estate may not be sold or used for any commercial or promotional purpose.

Are dogs allowed at Stephenson's Historic House?

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the garden and maze, and assistance dogs are allowed in the house and café as well. We've also made some additions this year, to make visiting Stephenson's Historic House with your dog as simple and fun as possible.

Dogs are not allowed in the house or café, but there are posts to tie dogs up for a short time outside the maze. We do not advise that you leave your dog in your car. Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, are allowed in the house and café.

Do you accept credit & debit cards?

Yes, all major cards are accepted; Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club International, Discover, Union Pay & American Express. We also accept contactless payments.

Is the car park free to use?

Yes, our car park is free. Visitors must not, however, leave Stephenson's Historic House while using the car parking facilities available.

The car park is accessible until 9pm Wed - Fri and 8pm on Sat - Sun.

Do carers qualify for discounted entry into Stephenson's Historic House?

Registered carers have free access to Stephenson's Historic House when accompanying the person they provide care for. A ticket will be provided for any carer when appropriate identification is shown at the ticket desk upon entry.
